The Second Unit Shines

The bench ended up being the difference maker in this contest. The Raptors’ bench outscored the Bulls 66-30 and it was Terence Davis who led all scorers with a career-high 31 points in 28 minutes. Davis continues to fit in perfectly with the Raptors’ system.

Injury Update

Marc Gasol, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Norman Powell were all out for the Raptors. Gasol has been out since January 30th with a hamstring injury. He might be out until after the All-Star break. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is out with a sprained right ankle  and he hasn’t played since January 28th. Most recently Norman Powell has been diagnosed with a fractured left ring finger. He is out indefinitely. This injury to Powell is a huge blow to the Raptors since he’s been on a tear lately. Powell will be re-evaluated in the coming weeks.
