Liam Fraser

Liam Fraser is the obvious choice. He played extremely well when filling in for Bradley, and he is only 21 years old. He is a traditional CDM and can fill in for Bradley without TFC missing a beat. Not too mention how effective he was for Team Canada when Mark-Anthony Kaye went down early in the friendly against the US.

When Bradley re-signed for TFC, there was a worry that Fraser might want to leave since he won’t get much playing time. Fraser himself has admitted to wanting more playtime. Fraser said he would prefer it to be in Toronto but if somewhere else gives him the chance he would be inclined to take it.

This opportunity gives Fraser another chance to show his quality both to Toronto FC and to other suitors. If he plays well and loses the job to Michael Bradley when he returns, I guarantee other teams will come calling.

With Fraser being the obvious choice what are a few other options? Flip the page to find out why I think a complete formation change might be what’s needed.
